FRIENDS and ACQUAINTANCES
The following are a list of the web pages for some damn interesting people..
My sister is an artist currently living in Portugese Cove. This website contains much of her work over the past few years.
This is the website of Beth and her "significant other", Chris Campbell. You can see photos from their sailing trips, hiking trips, skiing trips as well as catch some photos from their travels in general.
This is the web-site of the Dickinson clan. Andrew "Animal" Dickenson was one of my closest friends in University and beyond and I had some great times with his brother, Tim as well. The rest of the ever-growing clan I am not as familiar with and I do not stay in touch with Andrew as much as I should. At this site you can find out what is going on in the crazy world that the Dickinson's inhabit.
REALLY should read the Daily Dirt more often. If you want to read THE BEST
of contenporary criticism, you NEED to read the Daily Dirt. I
cannot tell you who runs this newsletter/site as he tries to remain
anonymous, but I can assure you that it is run by one of the, if not THE,
greatest (and most warped) minds I have ever known. There is, however,
a LOT of porn on this site (a LOT more than there used to be so profits must
be up) so be forewarned. Maybe there is a text version somewhere but I
doubt it since ads are money and this newsletter is selling SMUT.
This is the site that will give you the what is what of Todd, Bill and Liz Raine. We'll see how often Todd updates it.
The homepage for my highschool. Well, I attended Liverpool Regional High School in a different buildng but, as far as enterprises go, this is still my high school's web page.
This is the Web page for the University where I attended for my 6 year undergraduate degree in Philosophy.
Rob Currie and I attended Dalhousie together and, while we were not exactly close buddies or anything, I do appreciate his music, sense of humour and good nature.
More than an acquaintance and somewhat less than a best friend, John and I spent a fair bit of time together when he and my brother played together in a band. John Epworth MUST be heard. He is all that and more. As of February 6, 2006, his web-site seems to be for his new band and under some serious construction.
The web-site of Chris Eaton, writer and musician who has not only written some of the best songs going but has written on of the best novels i have read (The Inactivist). Definitely a guy to watch during the upcoming decades.
